Through targeted grants, general support grants, and other capacity-building and leadership development assistance, we help strengthen the our region's nonprofit organizations and their leaders. From shining a light on effective organizations and committed individuals to incubating new organizations and supporting philanthropy-related research, The Community Foundation is working to promote the value and effectiveness of the nonprofit sector.

The Spirit of Giving Guide
For the last four years, The Community Foundation has published the Spirit of Giving, an annual guide that raises awareness about key issues facing our community, the role of smaller nonprofit organizations in addressing these challenges, and ways to support their work in this region. The guide is designed to provide donors and others who are committed to philanthropy with a tool for giving that offers information as well as inspiration.
