Nonprofit Learning Center
The number of nonprofit organizations is growing exponentially nationwide. In the Washington, DC metropolitan area alone, there are more than 4,000 nonprofits serving communities across our region.
The Community Foundation has a decades-long history of assisting and supporting nonprofit organizations in our region, and our commitment is stronger than ever today. As the sector has grown and changed, competition for funding is keen; impact measurement, evaluation and accountability are increasingly important; and the ability for nonprofits to sustain and expand their operational capacities, especially in this uncertain economic climate, is an ongoing challenge.
With this in mind, our online Nonprofit Learning Center is a growing archive of articles, published reports and new research compiled to help our nonprofit colleagues stay up-to-date on sector-related topics. Please check this section regularly as we build this archive of resources.
