Migratory landbirds, such as the Brown Pelican, are at risk of endangerment as the oil spill destroys food sources and causes habitat loss. A gift to Audubon will help the organization provide resources for volunteers responding on the ground, monitor the response efforts, and guide response efforts to important bird habitats.
National Wildlife Federation

According to the National Wildlife Federation, over 400 species of wildlife reside in the Gulf Coast region. In addition to affecting wildlife in its direct path, the oil spill jeopardizes coastal wetlands, swamps, and potentially could cause the destruction of entire habitats, eventually leading to endangerment or extinction of entire species. By donating to the National Wildlife Federation, you will support NWF’s cleanup efforts and help protect these species and their habitats.
